Wallet
Balances, activity, sending and receiving — without giving up custody.
The Wallet page reads your Stellar account and shows what is in it. It holds nothing itself: every figure is read from the ledger, and every action is a transaction your own wallet signs.
#What it shows
- Balances for XLM and every asset you hold a trustline to, with current value.
- Portfolio value across those holdings.
- Activity — payments, trades, trustline changes and pool operations, read from the ledger rather than from any record of ours.
- Trustlines you hold, and the controls to add or remove them.
- Claimable balances waiting for you to accept.
Because it is all read from the chain, the same information is visible on any Stellar explorer. Nothing here is private to LumosCore, and nothing is lost if you stop using us.
#Sending
- Choose Send, pick the asset and enter the amount.
- Enter the destination address. Check it character by character — Stellar payments are final and there is nobody who can reverse one.
- Approve in your wallet.
The recipient may need a trustline
If they do not hold a trustline for the asset you are sending, the payment cannot be delivered directly. It becomes a claimable balance they must accept — see Trustlines.
#Receiving
Receive shows your public address and a QR code. Sharing it is safe: a Stellar address is public information, and knowing it does not let anyone spend from your account.
To receive an asset you do not yet hold, add its trustline first — otherwise the sender's payment will arrive as a claimable balance instead of a direct credit.
#Swapping from the wallet
The Swap action opens the same trade flow as the Trade page, prefilled with the asset you selected. The routing, fees and slippage behaviour are identical — see Swaps.
#Keeping XLM for fees
Every transaction costs a small XLM network fee, and your account must keep a minimum balance that grows with each trustline, open offer and pool position. If you spend your XLM down to the minimum, further transactions fail — including the ones that would free the reserve.
Leave yourself a working balance of XLM. A few XLM is enough for a very large number of transactions.
There is no recovery
We cannot reverse a payment, restore a lost key, or freeze an account. That is the direct consequence of never having custody — and it applies to us as much as to anyone else who might try.
